Before you start
- Mathematics — 8 questions, 17 marks, about 16 min
- English Language — 3 questions, 11 marks, about 12 min
- Computer Science — 4 questions, 12 marks, about 12 min
Maths 17 · English Language 11 · Computer Science 12. No calculator in the maths section. This week: every answer has two halves — on a quotation, what it suggests and then what it does to the reader; on a 'state the output' question, the trace table first and then the number. Flag anything that is eating your time and come back to it. Never leave a question blank — typing 'skip' is a blank. A sensible attempt can earn marks, a blank cannot.
- The timer starts when you press Start and runs for 45 min. It cannot be paused.
- When it reaches zero the paper is handed in as it stands. If you close the page by mistake, open it again — the timer keeps running and your answers are kept.
- Answers save as you type. Flag a question to come back to it; never leave one blank.
This paper is for 4 November 2026. It opens on the day.
